About the Rabbit Hole

This series of studies and sessions takes a deep dive into subjects and themes in the Bible that are often ignored or skipped over. Some are considered controversial or too fantastic to spend time on. Others are truly speculative. We don’t pretend to be the authority on these issues, but in many cases, they do explain mysteries and produce more mysteries at the same time. In the Olivet Discourse, Jesus makes a statement: “But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” (Matthew 24:37 NKJV). What did this really mean? Our first series looks at this prophecy and asks the question: What was it really like in the Days of Noah? And furthermore Why was there a need for global flood? This study shows that from the very first word of the Bible, that the narrative points to the cross, and the supernatural redemption of man by Christ’s Sacrifice.

What We Believe

First, we are literalists; If the Bible says it, that settles it. We don’t believe that the Bible is at all fantasy, but instead a true and faithful account of the history of mankind and a description of a loving God who crafted the universe, breathed life into the dust of the earth to create man in His own image, and died on a cross to redeem us from sin.

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God. We believe in the Holy Trinity, that God is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, all in one, all separate. All Holy. We believe that Jesus, God as Man, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, preaching His Gospel, performing miracles and IS the Messiah that Israel has longed for, was crucified as a complete payment for the sins of Man, was resurrected, and subsequently was taken into heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father awaiting the time that he will return to rule the earth after the Great Tribulation. We believe in the work of the Holy Spirit in the world today. We believe that miracles still happen every day. We believe in the Covenant relationship that God has with Israel and that God keeps all of his promises. We believe that salvation is attained by knowing that we cannot save ourselves, knowing what we are, by knowing and believing that Jesus is the Son of God, by asking Him to save us, and by repentance from willful sin. We believe that no one comes to salvation without the work of the Holy Spirit in drawing us near to him. Hallelujah!
